Enough for All
This piece marks a return to creating with my hands after years of staying in the digital realm. It began with earth itself: natural pigments ground and mixed into paint, a canvas built in collaboration with my husband, and a process that felt grounding and sacred in its simplicity. There was no plan. Only trust.
The work is inspired by the myth of the Golden Apple. In the original story, a single apple marked “to the fairest” is thrown among three goddesses, leading to comparison, jealousy, and war. Beauty is judged. Worth is ranked. Scarcity creates conflict.
This painting imagines a different ending.
Three apples. One for each goddess. No competition. No judgment. No winner or loser. Just quiet abundance. Because if one golden apple exists, then a tree exists. And where there is a tree, there is a grove. Nature does not offer beauty in limited supply.
Enough for All is a reminder that creativity, inspiration, and beauty are not scarce. We do not need to compete for our place. We only need to reconnect with what makes our soul come alive.
